History:

Asahi Electric Co., Radio (April 1948 - May 27, 1960)

Crown Corporation (April 1960 - October 1, 1993)

Miyakoshi Corporation, Inc. (October 1, 1993 to Present)

Incorporated in May 1948. Manufacturing and sales of electrical parts for public radio equipment.

In April 1955 begins manufacturing of portable radios exported as "CROWN" brand.

Changed to Crown Corporation in April 1960 in Japan (in English: CROWN RADIO CORPORATION).

Shares listed on the Second Section of Tokyo Stock Exchange Market in October 1961.

Began production of Black and White television in May 1965.

Started production of Color television in May 1970.

In July 1985 trade name changed to CROWN CORPORATION.

In October 1987 merged with Taziri Machinery Co., Ltd.

In October 1993 changed name to Miyakoshi Corporation Ltd. In Japan (English: MIYAKOSHI CORPORATION).
